If you are working behind a firewall (a security system often used by big companies), you'll need to set Dreamweaver's Preferences to work with your firewall:

• Choose Edit >> Preferences and select the Site FTP option.
• Make sure you specify the correct Port and Firewall Host.
• Click OK

Note: Ask your system administrator what to use for these settings.
