Windows 2000 Internet Connection Wizard
Requirements
You will need the following information.
- Your
login ID (user name) ex: (joeuser@nethere.net)
- Your
password
Double
click "My Computer", open the "Control
Panel" and select "Internet Options"
Select the "Connections" tab and click on
"Setup".
Choose I want to set up my connection manually. Click
next.
Select I connect through a phone line and modem. Click
next.
Next enter the dial up number we gave you. A list can
be found here.
Click next.
Enter your username and password. Click next.
Give your connection the name "NetHere" and
click next.
You can stop here if you do not wish to set up OutlookExpress.
To continue and set up OutlookExpress, choose yes.
Choose create a new internet mail account. Click next.
Enter a "Display Name". Click next.
Enter your NetHere e-mail address
and click next.
For My incoming mail server is a... Choose pop3.
Enter pop3.nethere.net for the incoming server and mail.nethere.net
for your outgoing server.
Finally make sure your username and password are entered
and make sure
that Log in using Secure Password Authentication is
NOT checked. Thats it!.
