Windows 95 Internet Connection Wizard
Requirements
You will need the following information.
- Your login ID (user name) ex: (joeuser@nethere.net)
- Your password
Click the Start button.

Click on Programs, Accessories, Internet Tools and Get on
the Internet.

Get Connected! Click Next>

Click on the Manual radio button. Click the Next> button

Click Next> on the Welcome to Internet Signup! screen

Select Connect using my phone line. Click the Next> button.

My internet Service Provider automatically assigns me one
should already be selected.
Click the Next> button.

Click the Yes (recommended) radio button. Click the Next>
button.

Click the Next button.


Type in NetHere for the name of Service Provider.

Enter the dialup number we gave you. A list can be found here.

Enter your username and password.

Click the Next button.

You do not have to input any information in the DNS Server
Address so please click Next>

Click yes when the warning screen pops up and continue to
the next screen.

Use Internet Mail should already be checked.
Type in your full e-mail address. This will be your username
followed by @nethere.com
Type in pop3.nethere.net is the Internet mail server
Click the Next> button

You have now completed configuration of your computer. Click
Finish
Click the Yes button to restart your computer.

Once you have restarted your computer, right click on The
Internet icon and select Properties

Click on the Connection tab and click onto the Properties
button
Deselect the box next to Use country code and area code. This
will gray out the area code and country code boxes. The purpose
of this function is to let your computer know that you are
dialing a local number in your area and do not need to dial
1 and the area code.
Click onto the Sever Types tab. Make sure that the only Advanced
option is Enable software compression and for Allowed
network protocol, TCP/IP should only be selected. Click
OK . This will take you back to the Internet Properties screen
so click OK once again to take you back to the desktop.
Double click on the Internet icon
Verify that your User name is correct and type in your Password
Click connect and your computer will now dial up to the NetHere
network
