Outlook Express 5-6. Adding an email account
Requirements
You will need the following information.
- Windows version of Outlook Express
5 or 6
- Your login ID (user name) ex: (joeuser)
- Your password
1. First, launch Outlook Express. From the "Tools"
menu select Click on "Accounts".
2. Be sure the "Mail" tab is forward
and then click on "Add" and then on "Mail".
3. Type in your name in the text field.
4. Type in your email address in the field. For Example:
johndoe@nethere.com
5. Type in pop3.nethere.net in the first text
field.
Type in mail.nethere.net in the second text field.
6. Type in your username in the first field. This is
the part that is before the @ symbol.
For Example: johndoe
7. Type in your password in the second field. Remember
that these need to be lower case.
8. Click the Finish button.
9. Click the Close button. You are now ready
to send mail!
